The All-New Dodge Ram is loaded with safety and security technology. So much so, all three cabs—Ram Crew 1500, Ram Quad Cab® and Ram Regular Cab—have been awarded the government's highest frontal crash rating[1]: Five-Stars. Dynamic front crumple zones and side-impact door beams absorb impact forces from every angle. Ram's side occupant protection system includes side-curtain airbags[2] with tethers.

In the event of an accident, where the airbag deploys and vehicle power and communication network is intact, the Enhanced Accident Response System (EARS) will turn on interior lamps, unlock the doors, turn on hazard flashers and initiate fuel shutoff.
