Trophy Room

2009 Dodge Grand Caravan has a rich heritage of innovation, quality and style. Because of that heritage, Grand Caravan has collected more than its share of awards and praise. Take a look at the most recent addition here in the Trophy Room. Among its most notable recognitions for 2009 is that of "Most Dependable Van," from J.D. Power and Associates.[1]

  • J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Vehicle Dependability Study[1]

The Vehicle Dependability Study measures problems experienced by original owners of three-year old vehicles. Overall dependability is determined by the level of problems experienced per 100 vehicles, with a lower score reflecting higher quality. This study is used extensively by manufacturers worldwide to help design and build better vehicles.

  • Consumers Digest Best Buy

Consumers Digest called 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan a Best Buy. According to Consumers Digest, "Functionality is crucial in the design of a minivan. In that regard, the Dodge Grand Caravan takes a back seat to no vehicle. Contributing significantly to that is its Swivel 'n Go seating-second-row seats that swivel to face the third row. Fold-flat seating, storage bins in the floor and lots of cupholders also come into play. The pièce de résistance on this minivan? The optional Sirius Backseat TV system for live TV viewing. Right behind functionality for minivan buyers is safety, and Dodge upped the ante in that regard with its inclusion of optional blind-spot monitoring and a rear cross-path detection system that is designed to prevent the most common collisions."
