Towing & Payload

Dodge Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cabs are designed, engineered, tested and built to meet the higher performance standards of commercial truck buyers. Their impressive Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) provide brute-scale towing and payload capacity. For example, the Dodge Ram 3500 Regular Chassis Cab with the single-rear-wheel axle offers a best-in-class 10,200-pound[1] GVWR and 5500 weighs in at up to 19,500 GVWR. Dodge Ram 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cabs have more diesel Regular and Quad Cab models for heavier loads than Ford F-450 and F-550[1] plus they feature best-in-class standard tow hooks. Explore the Chassis Cab capacity charts to learn more and find the truck that's right for you.
